Bottles

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

Well, this was taken nearly at the end of the optical zoom range on my camera. (Focal length = 331 mm.) However, I'm not sure that standing at one end of my kitchen to take a picture of bottles at the other end was really what our 7DOS admins had in mind in relation to the Telephoto Tuesday theme. I promise to try harder, and be a bit more creative, next week.

Its all part of my learning curve, especially as I see when I want to use telephoto and when macro might be better. I've recently washed the kitchen windows - thus the "outdoor" feel to this photo. :-) @Ken - thanks! I've just (in the last 2-3 days) FINALLY learned how to use the manual focus facility on my camera, and I've been very pleasantly surprised by the difference it makes to my pictures when I control the focus, rather than letting the camera do it!
