Well Jennie - at least he hasn't been pushed
by three mopeds parked in a parking spot. I
am with you..the inerestingness has always
baffled me. But it seems to be an algorithm
based on how many contatcs/non-contacts
view/comment and/or fave the pic. It's all
about clicks.

Well hot damn this is good! Can't figure out
why you want that space at the left, however.
I'm a big fan of negative space, but it
doesn't seem to add anything to this image,
which begs to be drawn right into that face.
I suppose an 8x10 ratio would take care of
what feels like excess width - am I correct
in assuming this is full frame?
Still, not enough not to save this
strikingly well done portrait.

Wonderful DoF. Very narrow, love it and I am
sure you are pleased with how this came out.
Eyes are focused and off center, background
is totally gone. I love it. Oh yeah, cute kid

I think soundtemplar is onto something with
this whole "delete what is good, save
what is bad" mentality. I think this is
the best photo in the pool today (including
my own) The expression is great, the subject
in general is great. The narrow DOF is
awesome. I like the levels of gray. I like
the tight crop because little kids have huge
heads and if you hadn't cropped it he would
probably look like an alien. Awesome job
over all.
