38°32' 28" N, 76°34' 57" W

I took 88 pictures of the night sky during the geminid meteor shower and ended up with 3 fair pictures. This second one was a very bright meteor that was streaking down toward the treetops. It ended in a flash just off the frame. This photo was cropped but not enhanced.

ISO-1600, f/3.5, 30 sec., 18mm, Canon EOS Digital Rebel
