This gent was very affable when I stopped him on the sidewalk and asked him how long it took to grow his beard. The answer? He hasn't shaved in 30 years, altho it all fell out when he went thru chemo. He checked out my beard. "Not bad, not bad. It will fill in as you get older." (complete with Irish accent)
