Winter Beach Trip Journal: I'm attempting to take some different photos on this trip.

My supper--yum, yum--my favorite. The DockSide Cafe has the MOST delicious shrimp anywhere. We've ordered some onion rings too. They are delicious. I didn't take a picture of their wonderful HOT WINGS. This is heavenly food.

OMG; makes me hungry just looking at it!!! I haven't been to Florida in a long time, and never to Port St. Joe - but I know where I'm eating when I get there!!!

You'll enjoy it. Never had bad food there. Been there with a storm blowing outside. They told us we couldn't have onion rings that time because someone would have to go to another building to get them. But...lo and behold...they brought the onion rings anyway. A corporate company purchased this land after the paper mill closed and put in a marina. It is run as nicely as a country club--whatever pleases the customer.

It's 100 miles south of Tallahassee, on the Gulf of Mexico between Apalachicola and Mexico Beach--about 30 miles southeast of Panama City on highway 98.
