Among the Tesla photos, I had not noticed any that show the wheel well side lights. Solid state lighting provides creative options for the shiny bling bling.
Here, in the corner of the party room, they gave peak torque experiences into the night.
“A favorite trick here at Tesla Motors is to invite a passenger along and ask him to turn on the radio. At the precise moment we ask, we accelerate. Our passenger simply can’t sit forward enough to reach the dials.
The Tesla Roadster delivers full availability of performance every moment you are in the car, even while at a stoplight. Its peak torque begins at zero rpm and stays powerful beyond 13,000 rpm.
This is the precise opposite of what you experience with a gasoline engine, which has very little torque at a low rpm and only reaches peak torque in a narrow rpm range. This forces you to make frequent gear changes to maintain optimal torque. With the Tesla Roadster, you get great acceleration and the highest energy efficiency at the same time. All while requiring no special driving skills to enjoy it. This makes the Tesla Roadster six times as efficient as the best sports cars while producing one-tenth of the pollution.” (

“Most electric vehicles operate under the assumption that driving is merely a necessary evil if you need to get someplace you can’t reach on foot or bike. The result has been cars that are designed, built, and marketed in ways that refuse to glorify driving.
We respectfully disagree. We believe driving is exhilarating. Just watch any child on a go-cart and the joy is plain to see.” (

I have to add that I'm really, really, REALLY
happy for this company. Big props. Yet
again we see how fresh and forward thinking
can completely change the game.
Hybrids and "alternative fuels"
are great but this makes so much more sense
for so many reasons. Upgrading our
powerstations seems a hell of a lot more
doable then switching all our our gas
stations over.
Can't wait for the sedan!

That paint looks incredible in this

Now I realize... I never said anything to you
regarding this project or did I? Don´t
remember.
I like it, yeah. It´s another story
compared to the (pastel) orange Lotus.
Smaller too, no?
I think the paint makes it for for most of
the design, and the shiny drawing of the
rims... and of course that it is a
convertile. I am quite lost about the hood,
tho, for the pics, I can´t see how do you see
it from the front. But the overall design
feeling from here evokes "Porsche"
to me. Perhaps it not the correctest
comparison, but for what I see, I perceive
their fine line, sport and posh, small size,
low weight (it has *also* the appearence to
be light), almost touching the floor for
greatest adherence at high speed... A neat
buddy.
Oh, and I like very much the brand's
iso-logotype.
How did you replace the piston engine
sounds with, finally? Is it so noticeable the
"sound of silence" in this one as
in all electric cars?

Hey! wait a minute... I was reading this:
www.mercola.com/2007/feb/27/learn-more-about-
americas-rev...
And your car´s name came up to my mind when
I saw the inventor´s name. So I followed
their link to wikipedia to learn more about
this guy Tesla, to see if he had inspired the
car´s name:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla
I bet he was the muse!!! If you mentioned
it somewhere already, sorry, I missed it
Didn´t know -neither had heard of this person
before-. The most funny thing was to receive
that article right now on a newsletter and in
the title link it didn´t mention
"Tesla" anywhere. I just clicked.
synx.
ps: if I am correct, you should suggest the
Tesla webmasters to add info on the wiki
entry about the company. At the subtitle:
"Nikola Tesla in popular culture"
there are mentions alike.
