the rafts didn't sit high in the water, but they worked just fine - most of the time. . . except for when they got stuck on rocks in the rapids and almost overturned. Or when Oh lost his pole (which happened quite a bit, actually he ended up running out of poles and had to steal one from another raft). Still, we made it down the river just fine - and had a wonderful time doing it!
