A beautiful picture! I think all parents,
especially moms, can relate to how you feel
today. It never goes away. I felt the same
way when my son turned 8 a couple of weeks
ago. My mom felt that way when I turned 41.
It's the blessing of family.

Messy! Ohhh, goshhhh!! it was a nightmare!! LOL!!!!
it took SO much coaxing and bribing!! I was
saying stuff like, "i promise i'll give
you a cookie - just please sit down for a
little while. I'll give you anything - I'll
give you two cookies!!" Hubby was very
clever and was able to calm him down by
humming a song and the little monster hummed
along and sat perfectly still! (the little
monster loves to sing). I have to say, this
photo was the most challenging one yet.
LOL!!! It took 14 takes.

crazy for feeling over-emotional about him
turning 2! LOL! Truth be told, I was already
starting to feel emotional a couple weeks
before this day!
