Great take off on "American
Gothic". Love your expression! Be sure
to tell your hubby that Grant Wood viewed the
couple as a father and dutiful daughter.
Wood persuaded his dentist to pose as the
farmer, Don't remember who he got for the
"daughter."
Always liked the way the farmer held the
pitchfork, like it was his staff of office.
Makes me wonder what "office" the
broom "staff" represents!?!
