	More Water says: They're not polished! Like lychees, the seed coats are shiny. I was going to take a photo of them among the browning gooey peelings, but thought that a change of light and a different container might be better. Fruit is from my aunt's house - apparently my uncle liked to plant edibles. Posted 3 months ago. ( permalink )

You know I'm into angles :-) My mother's side heritage - grands and greats - planted lots of edibles - apricot, guava, persimmon, banana, lemons, etc. - and they'd ripen in Santa Monica!
