THe facial distortion that you get from the
angle on the wall is pretty cool.
I'll offer up a saveme if you get rid of
the arm in the mid left.

I like the way the chair back cradles Frida's
hand: makes the Frida photo extend into the
3D world of the guy reading. There's another
photo behind him, where an arm seems to be
reaching into his head. Ordinarily, it would
be a distraction, but here it seems to work.
All in all, quite comtemplative.

Clever, take a well-known picture of a
celibrated artist and then...stick a bearded
man infront. For me Freda's hand and the
statue get in the way, making the right side
of the picture top heavy.

I just looked at it for 30 seconds and just
made me say WOW! Then I looked at it longer
and loved it more.
I used to put my name on my photo like you
do but my teacher gave me a lot of crap about
it. So I ended up putting my name not on the
photo but on a border like...

This way people can crop out my name if
they want to enjoy my picture without my name
attatched to it.

very crowded composition indeed. I don't know

the other painted wall.

Frida's presence and her line of view lead to
the lone reader well. That combined with the
baseline molding separates and creates a flow
that I appreciate. The exposure and
contrast have also been handled well.
I like the moment the The Bench has. It is
very peaceful and the colours are nice but I
would prefer Frida.

i guess i just don't understand this shot.
i'm not a fan of the defender and both are
not best100, but then i have to go with one
of them. in the end i think the composition
of the defender is the tad more interesting.

Each photo captures a nice moment with very
different moods. The challenged image is
quiet and idilic, and this one is more like a
moment amongst human frenzy.
I think my preference is for this one
though. It just has a little more of that
blink and miss it feel.

I prefer the peace and the relaxing mood of
the defender. Even if with has a very
original cut, in my opinion, this one has too
many distracting elements (chair, arm,
building for example), that don't help.

At first glance, I thought this would be a
successful challenge, but I think the
cluttered right side, the intruding arm and
Nike Swoosh harm an otherwise excellent
photo.
