Here's the completed mosaic (a close-up of the interesting structure in the bottom left-middleish region can be found here) of the Rosette Nebula taken with my university's telescope for my Astronomy project. Clearly, this isn't the whole nebula but it's all the images I could take before the project was due. Images false-colored in MaxImDL. H-alpha substituted for red.

I did really enjoy this project and if the school will give me some time on the telescope over the summer, I might try to image some other objects. Any suggestions (I'm in Iowa but the telescope's in Arizona)?
