Wow, great shot! Love the sky, the
expression... just everything (even though
skating isn't my thing).

nice freeze-frame action, but i don't like
the confusion between the tree and his right
foot. i'd have liked this more if yuou'd
been lower and shooting up a bit more. also
don't like the poor exposure. i want to be
able to see some detail in the black.

I agree with the above comment (KK): it would
have been much better if you had got some
clear blue sky between the skateboarder and
the trees (both left and right).
I have taken similar shots with a
trampoliner and made the same mistake. You
also need to choose the time of day carefully
to get the best angle for the sun on the main
subject. Perhaps you can set up another
session?

Thaks for the small size. What kind of
Photoshopping did you use on that postage
stamp? His skin looks like dead fish.

I think this is a great grab (and I do like skate photos) but, like a few of the
above comments, there ia a weird skin tone
(and on his shoes) that distracted me right
away. I would like to zoom in and check it
out but there is no larger image.

It's pretty good, it needs a slight dose of
flash to separate him from the background
more, knock out those blown highlights and
expose the darks better. I do like the angle
and composition. Good shot.

deep shadows, annoying tree behind foot.

It is a nice attempt thought the color is all
out of whack. It doesn't look intentional
either.

Killer shot. The body is perfectly composed,
the board just hanging there... no idea what
this deleteme crowd is on about. I don't find
the foot/tree overlap distracting at all.
Not such a fan of the colourcast, but
overall great.
