What *would* be cool is if it was linked up
via rf+computer to the digg site for live
updates ;)

To be totally transparent, this is the
brainchild of limor, pt, and kevin. You can
look forward to an awesome Make: Podcast
about this, it's the ultimate first soldering
project!
It really will be super easy to make and
will make you want to make a ton of other
electronics kits!
In fact, if you're interested in making
this, you should bone up on soldering and
watch the tutorial podcast and pdfcast!

It almost needs another set of led characters
on the bottom that say "Digg" but
when the button is pressed changes
temporarily to "Dugg"
That would be classy.

can be easily done with a set of binary
counters and a 7447 IC. since there's only 1
IC my bet it's a PIC running a counting prog.
and driving the 7 segment display + resistors
+ battery
update.
it's definetly a PIC or any other kind of
programmable IC. when you go full size you
can clearly see the X1 for the oscillator and
C1 for the corresponding capacitor

Awesome...simply freakin' awesome dude! I
can't stop playing with the thing. This would
make a great site counter if you could easily
implement it into a websites structure. Heck,
who know's you could start you own affiliate program like some of these other designers are doing
and have other sell it for you! ROFLMAO
