A local fish hatchery releases tens of thousands of chum salmon fry into these waters each spring. This creek empties into the Fraser River in Maple Ridge, B.C.

Moonbeam

Previously known as "Tick-seed" flowers, due to the similarity of it's seeds to ticks, this flower is more usually known now as Coreopsis ("Moonbeam").
