- Eriophorum And Storronden Peak At Dawn -
- Storronden Peak, 1238 m. (7014 ft.) hiding the early morning sun in the background.
- After a 5 hr. hike through the night I was amazed to find this small "island" of eriophorum being touched by a ray of light, in the dead silence at dawn, before sunrise...or was it just my tired mind hallucinating?
- A Hoya DMC Pro 1 polarizer helped me pull out the beautiful warm details underwater and a handheld Lee (3-stop) nd grad filter kept those cool, moving
skies detailed and clear, exposing for the subtle ray of light coming in from upper left morning sky. Without those filters this shot would have been impossible.

- Rondane Mountainrange -
- Rondane National Park, the oldest national park in Norway, establ. 1962,
with ten peaks above 2,000 metres (6,560 ft), with the highest being Rondeslottet at an altitude of 2,178 m (7,146 ft).
The 5 mountains in the background with it`s highest peak of 2018 m (6,620 ft.) is located west of Store Ula river (Big Ula) that runs in the valley between the largest mountainranges of Rondane NP.
As I passed this bend in the river in the sunset afterglow, I knew the various elements could make a good photo, before I by midnight continued my hike into Central Rondane NP.
