sudo make me a sandwich

Trying out Hannes' Sony Alpha 300.

Stole the title from xkcd, probably the greatest web comic on earth. Hannes was so kind to make me a toast although I don't have root privileges to him ;-)

Simply shot in jpg, no HDR, no blending, no hocus pocus.

Late (Exposure blended)

For this I took the last photo and blended it with the grasses from one of the brighter shots from the bracketed series. It's blended manually and thus far away from being perfect.

In the layer I added I intentionally left some bright spots from its sky, which I liked as they nicely fit into the dark sky.

Late

I had this place in mind for a sunset photo for some weeks now. Yesterday I decided to go there, though when I arrived, I saw that I was a bit late, as I had intended to have the sun above the trees. I'll have to go there once more :-)

This is one out of five photos from an autobracketed set, unfortunately once more the noise made it too hard for an HDR.

So this is one of the dark shots in raw, I just pimped the colors a bit in gimp then.
