Wordpress 2.5 Dashboard

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

If I was interested in WP news, I'd subscribe to Planet Wordpress or some other feed.

This shows a custom feed. But WP is in fact a CMS, not a feedreader.

Why should I want a summary of available/new/installed plugins on the dashboard?

Stuff I'm actually interested in. It's good to see it more prominently featured in this version.

Redundant RSS button. I'm not interested in following incoming links through my feedreader. Morevoer, indirectly this gives spammers an opportunity to attack your feedreader.

What's this RSS button supposed to do?

Redundant information. I already know what/when I've written.

Stuff I actually need. This should be more functional and less informative.

There's a Design option in the menu. So is an extra link necessary?

Redundant. Managing widgets goes under 'Manage'. Not really a function I use on a daily basis. Unless you like fiddling with widgets and plugins.

No more clutter in the menu. Great! The balloon with the amount of new comments is a nice feature.

Why seperating them from main menu navigation? Plugins item is redundant (Manage!)

Great to see help/support in the header instead of the footer. But why next to login and profile stuff?
