Blue Lake magicThe sunlight on the Blue Lake at the Jenolan Caves seemed to create a magical soft shimmering effect - made me feel like I was in some sort of Arthurian setting (there was no lady in the lake tho). Apparently the colour of the water is caused by the refraction of light from the limestone particles that have washed in to the water from the rocks around. I've never seen anything like it so I had to stop the car to capture it... Uploaded on Aug 12, 2008 (Semi) Circular buildingThe AMP Building in Sydney's Circular Quay, built in 1962 it was (at about 106m high) the tallest skyscraper in the country for three years, and is still a sight to behold with its classic sweeping lines.
