These ones are treated quite good, and most probably, wouldn't be alive if there were not there. Several tiger cubs were later given to the temple, typically when the mothers had been killed by poachers. Things are not always what they seem looking from the outside in. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_Temple In 1999 the temple received the first tiger cub; it had been found by villagers and died soon after. Several tiger cubs were later given to the temple, typically when the mothers had been killed by poachers. Or maybe this is just propagander and the tigers were all illegally traded and imported from LaoPDR. As of 2007, over 21 cubs had been born at the temple and the total number of tigers was about 12 adult tigers and 4 cubs. Where have all the tigers gone??!!!! There should be at least 29 tigers at the temple and this does not include litters of cubs that did not survive due to being fed human milk formula. Posted 8 months ago. ( permalink )
