Strobist info: single SB80DX flash on 1/128th to minimize flash duration. Pretty close, because there's not stacks of light at that setting, and I have a low ISO fetish. No light modifiers. Quaketronics trigger. Nikon D70. Setup a self timer, kill the room lights, when the 3 second exposure goes, pop it and pray the flash goes off.

I had a 5 balloon nest job setup, and the flash didn't go. :(
