pumpkin seeds - grind in food processor
eggshells, baked to make them brittle and grind in small food grinder until they are powdered
dried rosehips, ground, for Vit. C
brown rice, cooked with chicken broth
eggs, boiled 1 minute to coddle
have extra monster-zucchini? great way to use them!
broccoli, stems, leaves, flower petals and all ...
flax seed meal -- or just flax seed
pears and other seasonal fruit
almonds or peanuts - chop in food processor
other squashes from the garden, whatever you have. I'm waiting for the winter squash to ripen - Sam loves those
not shown in photo: I always add a large bunch of parsley, for the vitamin content -- right about now in the garden (September) the parsley is starting to bolt, so this is a great way to use it up

Sam's Healthwise Rawfood Cakes recipe
The ingredients in this photo are just what go into making the
veggie part of Sam's diet. He also gets raw ground turkey, chicken, rabbit or llama meat plus a 1/3 cup of yogurt and sometimes cottage cheese. We also put salmon oil on each meal. Sam gets daily dog-vitamin tablets, glucosamine and milk thistle capsules as well.

Looks like you had a good harvest this year!

lettuce, apples and carrots from our garden
too.

@Chris: ha ha -- yeah, I thought about how to
stage that part of the photo but I couldn't stand the
smell so I decided to skip it. Besides, Sam's
much more interested in the odor -of-roadkill (including deer) than he is in
eating it. He's been known to (while out on a
walk) bolt over to a pile of unidentifiable
remains and roll in it before I'm even aware
of what he's doing. Bad dog! [grin]
(he gives me the innocent look ...)
