oh gosh, I read what you wrote on the photo
below and it made my eyes water!! I hope that
he lives happily ever after too... he's so
handsome and loved. Isn't it amazing how our
animal companions can just tug at our hearts?
sooo special. He is very lucky to have such
incredible companions!! xo

thanks for what you wrote, Kat. I'm having a
hard time of it because we're leaving in two
days and won't see Sam for 10 days -- then he
has surgery as soon as we get back. I'm a
little worried, but trying to be positive and
optimistic. He's such a strong old soul. :)

Sam, you look good no matter what. Your
friend in buzz-cut Queen Heather will have
her locks removed soon, too.

I read your story for the second picture that
you posted. I hope he wakes up. I am sure he
is a strong dog and he will be just fine.
Gosh he is so cute with the long hair, but I
bet he is happier and cooler when it is
short. He will be in my thoughts when he
undergoes surgery. That is great that you
will be holding his hand. He will love that.
I held my dogs paw when I had to put him
down. It was so sad, but in the end I'm so
glad that I was there in his last hours.
Don't worry about Sam. He will be fine!

Sam still does look handsome, but if I
wouldn't know that he's a flatcoat I'd have a
very hard time recognizing him as one.
