Spring Lake Sunset

I used to take a lot of sunset pictures years ago when I first started shooting film. Not sure why I stopped. They're easy enough subjects. Although some nights are a little more colorful than others.

I should clarify - easy compared to chasing dragonflies around. LOL It was just dumb luck to catch a night like this with the calm water reflecting the deep colors.

Taz enjoys watching birds and squirrels as much as I do. Main difference being that I don't have an overwhelming desire to eat them. The squirrel seemed to be flaunting the fact that there was a screen between it and my cat.

Great-crested Flycatcher

These birds breed in Florida and are fairly common here from April through September. They are heard more often than they are seen, making a loud, rising "WHEEEP!" call.
