I was standing on Pike Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues (closer to 4th) across from the KOMO Channel 4 News crew. This was my first glimpse of the protesters as they turned right on Pike Street and headed down to 4th Avenue. There was a lot of chanting of Si Se Puede! (We can do it!) -- and, as there were last year, lots (and lots) of families marching with their children. Photographing these kinds of events -- capturing the passion that people feel -- it's an amazing experience.
