Travelling north up the M6 on friday night, as we got to Lancaster the weather went bonkers! Someone turned the lights off and the tap on it seemed, it went really dark and the rain started *battering* down. Weird thing was we could see blue skies towards either horizon and we could see where the rain would finish in front of us, but right over us it was horrendous.
When we exited the rain, I got the camera and snapped this, you can see the evening sun (about 90 minutes before sunset) illuminate the whole side of the cloud, the colours were just *fab*, and you can just about see how darl the rainclouds were if you check the bottom edge and the let hand side of the photo. Just glad we were in the car and not riding!
