Last night the three of us went on a bat walk with Andrew around Colchester Castle. We saw a bunch of bats, especially down by the water, and heard gazillions more on their nifty bat detector devices.

This is walking back along Magdelen Road by the Aldi. The color obviously wasn't all green like this; the camera saw it as extremely orange due to the street lighting. I preferred this color palette, though.

Indeed! I seriously considered several other colors (including something in the pinks, and the original orange). Yet somehow I ended up here. No great explanation, just did.
