Photographed in Chichester Harbour, Bosham. The stormy weather we've had this year has taken it toll on this derelict old boat.

That is exactly the good thing about wood
boats: they biodegrade. Think about how
long the GRP (glass fibre), steel and
aluminium derelicts will be around our
wetlands and beaches. And wood boats,
derelict or not, photograph better!

Beautiful shot ! This is an intriguing old
boat, the clouds create a dramatic atmosphere
so interesting !

Within only 6 months, that's pretty scary!
But it looks better now.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments.
It's very much appreciated.
@ kalandrakas - I should explain.
Chichester Harbour is very much effected by
the tide. It almost completely empties of
water twice a day when the tide ebbs. When if
flows the water rushes back into the harbour,
over the space of a few hours, and eventually
swamps some roads making them impassible
until it recedes again. The photo has been
geotagged so have a look at the map.
@ eileansiar - I couldn't agree with you
more. Wood is a great subject for photography
and is even better once nature has been at
it.
@ Tit'fleur - The secret to the clouds is
my ND Grad filter. It works wonders on
landscapes.
@ shoja3 - It's been unseasonally stormy
and I haven't seen this boat move in over a
year. I guess it was inevitable.
