I’ve been thinking about getting a new camera. One that is new and improved. One that costs more money.

I’ve saved my Christmas money and my birthday money, and I still don’t have enough to get what I want.

Trouble is, I don’t know exactly what I want. Is a digital SLR really worth the money?

When my little Nikon Coolpix 3100 takes pretty good shots, it’s hard to justify the upgrade. But there’s so much more I’d like to do with a better camera.

I’ve found a lot of pleasure in taking photographs. I like the creativity and the thrill of that “perfect capture”.

I guess I just need to make a choice.

	wilsonti says: I think the kind of lens possibilities with a DSLR are worth it. Waiting myself, too. No hurry. But.... Here's a good article that argues that it's the eye of the photographer and not the camera that matters, though. You've got a good eye, man. I'm enjoying your pics. Posted 25 months ago.
