shooting wildlife

We were driving (slowly) along a single lane gravel road in the Blue Ridge Mountains when someone spotted the deer. The driver halted the vehicle, and then backed up slowly. The doe twitched her ears at the sound of my zoom lens motor, but stayed still long enough for me to get this slightly blurry shot of her. Then she bounded deeper into the woods and stared at us some more.
