He had come to us through hardship. Now in his forever home, it was hard to recall the dark days. Alone, frightened, hungry and hurt, he had prowled the back alleys and side-streets of the city. The kind-hearted had found him, saved him, cleaned him, groomed him and tended his wounds. They had even named him. They mended his body and his spirit, so he came to us whole. We will be forever grateful.
