Sometimes i think she might be worth the money.

Okay these posts have been getting kind of boring. Promise over the weekend i'll do something more... interesting. But its 11:45 and i'm going to miss the cut off time if i don't upload something soon, so ANOTHER picture of me and lady against a blue wall- it is!

Expensive Leg

I came home yesterday to discover that Lady had developed a limp while i was at work. I'm sure her screams woke up my neighbors several times throughout the night. It wasn't swollen but it seemed pretty bad.

So, i took her to the vet today.

$700 later and I learn that while nothing is broken, Lady perhaps has some 'soft tissue damage' or in other words, a 'very bad sprain'. Did i mention this cost SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS.

I can't believe i managed to raise a dog that can only eat organic foods, takes anti-anxiety medication to keep calm, and now has to be carried up and down my five floor walk-up for the next two weeks.

I burnt myself on the neck with a curling iron a month ago but people are still asking me if its a hickey.

Sunday Breakfast

I like it when i can glance in my fridge thinking i have no groceries and somehow realize i have enough to conjure up something really delicious.

This morning it was herb baked eggs with gruyere. Toasted some of the leftover baguettes from yesterday and had it with a smear of pistou i had leftover from earlier in the week.

Now, off to pilates!
