Often referred to as the "loveliest" of all the lakes Manapouri is renown for its moodiness and beauty. Manapouri is the second deepest lake in New Zealand and contains 34 islands within its borders. We took the boat across Lake Manapouri on the visit to Doubtful Sound arriving back for sunset.
