I'll be away for a little while but will do my best to check in to see all of your wonderful work. In the meantime, here's a little something I've been dabbling in for a few years that I wanted to share with you.
Yes, I do paint but this particular painting was a photo that I converted in PS. To get the full effect I recommend listening to the song "Beyond the Sea." I have a swing version by "Cookie" that was the inspiration for this work but couldn't locate a link for you to hear it. So, instead if you're not familiar with this song check out the link below which features a version by the actor Kevin Spacey:
Beyond the Sea
There is a line in the song that says, "...and never again I'll go sailing..." Well, I will always go sailing but outside of that I believe it fits the image. ;-)
