SattaMac - 1991 PowerBook 100
To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player .
My series of painted Apple machinery is slowly growing .... the PowerBook 100 (Apple's first really portable computer) from 1991 is the latest addition.
It received a colorful makeover featuring Susan Kare's classic icons ... they are timeless -- you gotta love'em!
I am still looking for old Apples, especially iMacs. They don't need to work anymore, can be dirty and scratched --- all no problem.
Send me a message if you have a dead Mac sitting in the corner -- I'll bring it back to life as an art piece that will be exhibited together with all the other painted Macs sometime in the end of the year.

well, you don't have to go very far mate, there are already a golden pismo, a snow white LC II and green/orange Classic in my photostream here.
I started painting another Classic yesterday and still have a unpainted monitor sitting in my studio. I'm still desperately looking for old iMacs ....

thx everyone .... I/m having a lot of fun painting those old Macs (still desperately looking for a G3 iMac!). There are a few more in the making atm.
A couple of the painted Macs might be on display at the new 696 Gallery in Brunswick (696 Sydney Rd.) very soon --- not for sale yet though. They have shirts and paintings by me that you can take home in trade for some cashola.
re: Blowed UP truck
I'd love to add my images to your group, but unfortunately the free flickr account limits group submissions to 10 :(
