Heh. Someone heard me ranting about dialogs and rounded corners at the office, and minutes later this showed up on my desk.

Rounded corners in design are hard to do beautifully across all browsers despite numerous attempts (see my own), and are very "hacky" at best. (Don't get me wrong either, we love our designers and build beautiful things!)

There is hope in that CSS 3 has "border-radius", but it isn't universally-supported.. yet. We'll get there eventually. (I'm not sure if it's a spec yet either, but it's certainly desired. Firefox 2+ and Safari 2+ I believe both support it, wonderfully.)

	Monkey [20after4] says: unfortunately Firefox 3.0 only supports the proprietary "-moz-border-radius" css rule. It does however produce nice anti-aliased corners. Posted 6 days ago. ( permalink )
	.schill says: ^ Note that for all intents and purposes, this should be near-equivalent to the standard "border-radius" - Safari has done the same with -khtml-border-radius, which is the proper way to add either custom or not-yet-standard features. Thus: border-radius:3px; -webkit-border-radius:3px; -moz-border-radius:3px; This is supported in Firefox 2 as well, but the corners are not anti-aliased.
