the current christiansborg palace, now housing parliament, is one of copenhagen's ugliest buildings.

bits and pieces of the very cool, classicist royal palace which it replaced after a great fire in 1884 can still be found though, such as the interior of the main gate.

this marks the beginning of a small series of c.f.hansen interiors.
