Symbolische foto Akbar. Het is hier even
zoeken naar de ingang en dat geeft aardig aan
hoeveel moeite wij als historici moeten doen
om toegang te krijgen tot de collectie daar.
Het is een privé-archief dus hebben de
Oranjes onder de wet het recht om restricties
op te leggen.

Heel mooi met die bomen ervoor...en dat vind
ik altijd heel goed in de winter,dat je veel
beter de gebouwen kan zien DOOR de bomen...Er

Very nice shot! A great favorite of mine in
the middle of the nineteenth century was the
official historan to the kings of the
Netherlands: G. Groen van Prinsterer, who was
a colleague and adversary of Robert Fruin,
another important historian. Groen's pages on
Maurice, prince of Orange, and
Oldenbarnevelt, 'raadpensionaris' of Holland,
are very moving. Thanks for reminding me here
in the Cape.

Ik heb maar even gekeken in een woordenboek :
"2 ( een werk ) vervaardigen ( boek,
gedicht enz. ) schrijven, ( schoolwerk enz. )
maken, schilderen, componeren".
Gecomponeerd dus, klinkt een beetje gek.
Mooie compositie wil ik dus maar zeggen.
