Remnants of the burnt out Christ Church, St James shot through a ground level window.
I visited this place after seeing this set on my friend Georgie_Grrl's page:
www.flickr.com/photos/georgie_grrl/sets/72157604382049216/
According to her description:
Christ Church, St. James burned down on April 16th, 1998 and is part of an unsolved arson and double homicide/suicide case that involved a University of Toronto professor who was also the treasurer for the Church.

I was going to say ... "Hey!! That looks
familiar!!" Did you actually manage to
get past the fence and inside? Cool shot and
thanks for adding my link.

Sad tale, but I like this type of image , the
place looks sad and unused as it is, but the
graffiti makes it look wanted and happier to
me.#
Mybe I,m sad.LOL

There's a wooden fence at the back, next to
the residence, where we managed to get in
(did you check this area?)... When we went
down, the ground was snow covered... now that
the snow is gone, I wouldn't mind heading
down before the developers demo the place
completely!

@Georgie-actually this was shot before I
asked you the question; when I was there I
was wondering how you got in because it
seemed pretty secure.
@chewie-actually when I got around back my
camera gave me an "out of space on the
memory card" alert so I deleted a few
images just to grab a couple more and then
went home.
The odd thing was when I got home there
wasn't anyhwere near a gig worth of images on
the card; there was a lot but more like
2/3rds of a gig which seemed a little
"Twilight Zone". The other weird
thing that happened was there was one area
where the camera just would not focus
properly...I took a few shots at different
angles through the metal fance and when I got
home they all had a weird blurred area.
Overused that day I suppose...if you guys are
going back I'd be interested in tagging
along; let me know...
@towershot-it is a kind of sad place in a
way but there's some great grafitti in there;
I have a couple of other shots I have to get
around to posting and Georgie_Grrl's set is
well worth a visit-her Flickr page generally
is :)

We could go for first Wed. in June if that
works for GG and as long as they're not going
to start destroying before that-that's about
3 weeks away; or we could go sooner...I'm
pretty open.

If you want to go sooner Scott, drop me a
