I took this photo in 2002 with a 2 mp ixus,
so the quality is not the same as the photos
with my canon cameras I have to day, the
colors
are not so faded, but this is a good
tutorial to show what you can do to your
photo. The main thing is that the photo has
a good composition, or some interesting
material to work with.

Good work! I got really similar effect after
doing it another way;-)
1)Auto levels
2)I've copied the sky onto a new layer
(blending mode=multiply) and used gaussian
tool (7px)
3) Copied ground onto another new layer
(bm=multiply again) and brigtened a bit.

ha, I think people like your processing ;)
you didnt mention this, but a lot of your
color and hue changes can be achieved by
processing in RAW.
