Since my diagnosis this year, I've been taking some supplements to help me manage my diabetes. A multi-vitamin, vitamin C and fish oil for those good omega 3 fatty acids. Do they help? I don't know. sometimes, I've taken some cinnamon supplements too, but haven't noticed any difference in my blood sugars. The Vitamin C is supposed to help in combating oxidative stress, while helping my immune system stay healthy. The multi-vitamin is supposed to help enhance metabolism and compensate for the vitamin loss due to diabetes. The fish oil is supposed to help my cardio-vascular system.

I thought the cinnamon studies were done mainly with type 2 people.

I'm having trouble getting Daniel to swallow these horse pills.
