Scanned slides of photos taken in the north-west Highlands of Scotland, showing the area around Achiltibuie and featuring Stac Polaidh.

Although the photos are not of great fidelity, the subject matter seems strong enough to warrant posting. And I actually like the mood created by the odd hues and soft focus.

This series is beautiful! I've never seen images from this part of Scotland. Some of the unusual formations remind me of parts of the U.S.

The Torridonian sandstone outcrops remind me of some parts of Arizona and Utah. Where in the U.S. are you thinking of?
