Wonderfully clear and utterly without bokeh.
"He is one of those men who like to
look at construction sites, the gaping holes
in the earth which will form the foundations
of the skyscraper or a multi-storey car
park."
I'm intrigued. What's the book?

He is content to observe life, always
slightly bored and often waiting, even if
only for a bus. Failing that he will watch
other people waiting for a bus.

How do you like the book? I was thinking of
picking it up at a bookstore recently. I
bought On Photography by Susan Sontag
instead.

it is truly phenomenal.
no chapters, themes flowing in and out of
each other. an amazing rate of Ideas Per
Minute.
it certainly isn't an easy book, in terms
of structure and accessibility, but if you
have an intense interest in photography and
are willing to invest yourself in the flow ..
yeah, it is pretty good.

Perhaps I asked my question before the tags
went up, but clearly I should have looked.
All was revealed.

Thanks, I'll pick it up next time I visit a
decent bookstore (sadly I have to go out of
town for that), and I look forward to your
review.

Ah, a fine idea. regrettably the library
system here is even worse than the choice of
bookstores.
