an alfred hitchcock boxed set lives here as well

well, erin IS a film student, afterall
also, two ancient portfolios of comics, including the original drawings for athena's child
more comics and graphic novels
old audio tapes, almost entirely erin's vocal recordings and class notes from highschool
some VHS tapes and a set of miniature binoculars as well
my old board papers, certificates, diplomas, old financial records and important personal information
you know, junk.

Expedit that we bought for its large square shelves that work well to contain our oversized textbooks and graphic novels

it's really very good ~ but it does waste some space if you are going to use it for small books
you can see here that it leaves quite a bit of room at the top of most of the shelves, where a traditional bookcase would have shelves of varying heights to avoid this problem
by doing away with the different shaped shelves it does take on a very striking grid pattern, however

The Expedit makes a good grid for a square photo and it looks like it helps to make order out of chaos.
