Backyard in Infrared

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

Using a homemade Infrared filter on the digital camera this picture changes dramatically. In sunlight the yard is pretty much the same green, using the filter you can easily identify the different types of grass.

I made my filter following these instructions, but there are plenty of sites describing similar processes.
