Thanks Shoshana. Yes I am a recovering
painter (10 yrs later still recovering...). I
always liked the idea of portraits in SL
(hence your show), but had to find my own odd
way of making them.
These are all image captures made while
purposefully trying to create image tearing
in SL by stressing the server and client
software. The first one was an accident:

Well yes Dean this is absolutely worthy of
this pool. Unluckily, most people in this
pool produces tons of such images without
having to stress the server and client
software ;)

Thanks Arteer. Definitely a Magritte vibe
going on here. It has that wierd object on a
landscape surrealist model. The thing is, it
was generated by a simple screen cap of
things-going-wrong-on-purpose, so the
composition is a controlled randomness -
dada-like. Loads of fun!
