Rain Forest
A little rain forest developing in my backyard, probably a towering 1/2 inch in height!

Exposure / ND Filter experiment
View large - all sizes above.
Just picked up a few new filters to use primarily for landscape images as I find using photoshop to correct expoure after the fact is a pain in the ass.
Can any of you Oakvillians guess where I took this image?
These three images are as is, no editing so I could see the true difference in using the new ND Grad Filter
First image - exposed to retain detail of the sky - Shutter Speed 1/50Sec. - Av F4.0 - ISO 100 - as you can see the foreground detail is lost because of the high level of contrat between the sky & foreground.
Middle image -exposed for foreground detail - Shutter Speed 1/25Sec. - Av F4.0 - ISO 100 - as you can see the sky gets washed out and drama/colour is lost
Image on the right - Used Gradual Neutral Grey G2 (ND4) filter which allowed me to expose for the foreground but retain the colour and detail in the sky - Shutter Speed 1/15Sec - Av F5.6 - ISO 100
Anyone using ND Grad? Have any suggestions on how to better utilize as I am just learning & experimenting with these.
