In every barrel you'll find a few
That turn your nose and make you phew!
You bite and chew and taste; then spot
That rotten hole and half maggot
So as you spit and chuck that core
You'll cuss and swear - yuck! no-more!
But life is like that barrel adage
The rotten couple wreck and damage
They spoil our bus ride, work and play
But in the end 'tis them that pay
For we have friends that stick like glue
While the rotten apples boil and stew
So while we share these far side rhymes
Forget about the troubled times
As here in Flickr we chomp and chew
Some rotten apples may come through
But remember as you spit the rotten
Apples rot when they're forgotten.
