Beautiful Tommy very good job! the soft light
on velco's face goes great with his style of
photos. When I saw this first thought was
that this was a childhood friend. Brilliant
light and composition. I would advice you to
do more portraits.

Oh, no no no:)
I'm actually a hard core Digital Guy in my
past....you can check out many shots I've
taken with this EPSON and a few with a Nikon
D2H if you check my stream carefully.....;)

Oh your friend's name sounds like he is
also from the same place where velco was
born!:)

I think my photography is heading the same
way (digital to analog) your inspiration made
me buy a bronica (shame on you ;p)

You're influencing me to go film too!!
Thinking of getting myself an Olympus OM
camera. I never imagined you to be a digital
guy! There's always so much to discover
looking through your old photos. You'll
always see me favouriting your old photos
hehe. Sometimes I can stare at some of your
photos for a very long time. They are that
intriguing!
I wanna grow up to shoot film cameras like
you! =D

Shame on me yes!:p
Our "fate" is to head to Digital
in the ultimate goal, but now at this moment,
this very moment, we are probably the
"last generation" to be able to
enjoy the full potential of what FILM can do.
I don't think the film will really
"die"......just like the celluloid
record is still alive in this world, but we
also have to admit that the most of the
Variations of Films and the Chemical process
would become a heritage in human history.
Let's just do what we can do in the most
extreme way right now!!

Tommy>that is the worst case scenario that
I have been pondering about these days, and
the thought scares me. Luckily those darn
digicams needs power and that makes them
useless without whereas film can be used in
pure mechanical cameras( and nothing beats
largeformat ;d) if the evoulution kills film
then digital will be the new film( what I'm
saying is that digital will be as vibrant and
deep as film) like when we went from exposing
plates with slow shutter speeds(like a minute
or so) to using real film and having
hazzardous free development(they used mercury
to develop the plates) and went from
expensive cameras to more affordable ones.
But until then, let us just worry about our
wrong exposed film rolls and our huge
photography expenses ;)
