"So, camera technology isn't everything!"
True dat. Given the right light, the right
hands, the right subject, even cheap plastic
can do it. As evidenced here. Lovely.

A great picture. It's a fantastic surprise
what a little point and shoot can do for you,
showing that the power is in the eye of the
photographer and not so much in his/her
equipment.
It kind of hints at how important it is to
have a camera with you all the time. You
never know what you're going to see. What's
the story with the boat? Was there a storm
that beached it like that?

scene before you, not the camera that makes
the picture.

Creativity,
I have recently bought a Minolta 7d, but
most of my photos were taken using analogie
cameras - and I'm still shooting slide film
as well.
This picture was taken many years ago with
asimple film camera -no such thing as EXIF
data here, I'm afraid...

kind of a shame that anyone tries to tell

awesome shot...
my theory on cameras is like the old gun
saying.
"Guns don't kill people, people kill
people" or
"Cameras don't take good pictures,
People take good pictures"
nice work!
